Aluminum-Clad Steel wire -ACS wire
Specifications:
A high strength steel wire with a 25% thick cross-section ratio of aluminum cladding creating a high electrical conductivity, highly corrosive resistant and a thermal stability for high temperature operation and all with a lighter weight.
Applications:
To be used as a guy or " messenger" wire, and static wire in utility classifications, for overhead use.

Aluminum Clad Steel Stranded Conductor -ACS cable
Construction:
ACS cable is composed of aluminum clad steel. Concentric-lay-stranded conductors of aluminum-clad steel wires.
Properties:
ACS similar tensile strength as Guy wire but has superior corrosion resistance and enables much higher conductivity if needed.
